  1. Retail Account: (Current or Saving).
    1. Duly completed Retail Account Opening Form. (Available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    2. KYC Form for individuals must be completed from the *beneficial owner(s) and the authorized signatories. (Available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    3. Completed signature cards. (Available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    4. Valid Identification;
    5. For Jordanian residents National ID card

  2. Sole Proprietorship Account:
    1. Duly completed Corporate Account Opening Form (available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    2. KYC Form for Corporate. (Available in Bank the Branch/Office).
    3. Completed signature cards. (Available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    4. KYC Form for Individuals must be completed from the *beneficial owner(s) and the authorized signatories. (Available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    5. Valid Identification for the owner and the authorized signatories.
    6. Proof of Residency for the owner and corporation: (recent utility bill).
    7. Valid Registration Certificate identifying all partners.
    8. Vocational license.
    9. Certificate of Trade Name (where applicable).
  3. Joint Liability Company Account.
    1. Duly completed Corporate Account Opening Form. (Available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    2. KYC Form for Corporate. (Available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    3. Completed signature cards. (Available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    4. KYC Form for Individuals must be completed from the *beneficial owner(s) and the authorized signatories. (Available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    5. Proof of Residency for the *beneficial owners and corporation; (recent utility bill).
    6. Valid Registration Certificate identifying all partners.
    7. Vocational license.
    8. Valid Identification for the beneficial owners and the authorized signatories.
  4. Public Shareholding Company & Private Joint Stock Company Account.
    1. Duly completed Corporate Account Opening Form. (Available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    2. KYC Form for Corporate (available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    3. KYC Form for Individuals must be completed from the *beneficial owner(s) and the authorized signatories (available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    4. Completed signature cards (available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    5. Valid Registration Certificate identifying all partners.
    6. Memorandum & Articles of Association.
    7. Latest Board resolution stating the authorized signatories.
    8. Valid Identification for the authorized signatories.
  5. Government Account: (Public Institution, Governmental Departments, Ministries).
    1. Duly completed Corporate Account Opening Form (available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    2. KYC Form for Corporate (available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    3. KYC Form for Individuals must be completed from the authorized signatories. (Available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    4. Completed signature cards. (Available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    5. Letter of Authorization from the general accountant/ executive council resolution or treasurer of local government council.
    6. Copy of enabling act/decree or Certificate of Incorporation (where applicable).
    7. Memorandum & Articles of Association.
    8. Copy of financial authorities’ regulation (where applicable).
    9. Formal letter from the official authority stating the authorized signatories.
    10. Valid Identification for the authorized signatories.
  6. Non-Profit organization Account: (Charitable Organization, Societies, Clubs or Associations).
    1. Duly completed Corporate Account Opening Form (available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    2. KYC Form for Corporate (available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    3. KYC Form for Individuals must be completed from the authorized signatories (available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    4. Completed signature cards (available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    5. Valid true copy of the Registration Certificate (true copy)
    6. Certified copy of the club/society constitution.
    7. Minutes of Meeting and the Non-profit Organization Administrative Body which specifies where the account should be opened.
    8. Certified true copy of particulars of trustees (if Applicable).
    9. Formal Letter from the governmental competent authority for which the non-profit organization belongs, with a statement of the authorized signatories.
    10. Valid Identification for the authorized signatories.
    11. Memorandum & Article of Association. (M & A).
  7. Embassies and Consulates:
    1. Duly completed Corporate Account Opening Form (available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    2. KYC Form for Corporate (available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    3. KYC Form for Individuals must be completed from the ambassador/ consul and the authorized signatories (available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    4. Completed signature cards (available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    5. Certification letter from the royal court certifying the ambassador/ consul.
    6. Formal letter from the ambassador/ consul or from the first secretary of embassy/ consulate stating the authorized signatories.
    7. Valid Identification for the authorized signatories.
  8. Financial Institutions:
    1. Duly completed Corporate Account Opening Form (available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    2. KYC Form for Corporate (available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    3. Completed signature cards (available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    4. KYC Form for Individuals must be completed from the *beneficial owner(s) and the authorized signatories (available in the Bank Branch/Office).
    5. Proof of residency for the *beneficial owners and corporation; (recent utility bill).
    6. Valid registration certificate identifying all partners.
    7. Banking license.
    8. Copy of AML/CFT Policy/ Internal Procedures.
    9. Vocational license.
    10. Memorandum & Article of Association.
    11. The Annual Report.
    12. Valid Identification for the *beneficial owners and the authorized signatories.
    13. Duly completed AJIB AML/CFT Questionnaire Form.

    The bank reserves the right to request further details and documents when necessary.

    * The term "beneficial owner" refers to an individual who:

    1. Ultimately owns or controls the account; or
    2. A person who enjoys the benefits of ownership even though the title is in another name; or
    3. Any individual or group of individuals that, either directly or indirectly, has the power to vote or influence the transaction decisions regarding a specific security; or
    4. Is entitled to or controls, directly or indirectly, not less than 10% share of the capital or profits of the partnership; or
    5. Is directly or indirectly, entitled to exercise control with not less than 10% of the voting rights in the partnership; or
    6. Exercises ultimate control over the management of corporation; or
    7. If the partnership is acting on behalf of another person, means the other person.
